This update overhauls the presentation of the Rural Village assets to allow for more versatility and variety. Blob tilesets are now available where possible, and many more terrain types have been added. The range of water and winter tiles has been greatly expanded. Buildings now come premade but are also very customisable with seasonal and damaged variations. Shadows are now a single colour to maximise the versatility of some tiles.

The file organisation has been changed to allow me to keep better track of things. PNG and Aseprite files now occupy the same folders, and filenames have been shortened. Large tile sheets have been split up to make the huge number of new additions less overwhelming and easier to find.

Changes:

• Renamed in folders to World of Solaria Exteriors Tileset. This will soon be reflected on the product page. Version number remains.
• PNG and Aseprite files are now in the same folders.
• Filenames changed to be shorter and less complicated.
• Rural Village Buildings, Rural Village Windows and Shadows tilesets have been removed.
• Winter Lights 01 Left, Winter Lights 01 Right, Winter Lights 02 Left, Winter Lights 02 Right, Torch 01 Left, Torch 01 Right, Torch 02 Left and Torch 02 Right sprite sheets have been removed.
• Boardwalk Supports Horizontal, Boardwalk Supports Vertical, Broken Boardwalk Supports Horizontal, Broken Boardwalk Supports Vertical, Deep Water, Dirt Edges, Ice Edges and Water Rocks tile sheets have been removed.
• Blue shadows have been removed. All shadows are now purple.
• Previous version of assets (Solaria Rural Village 08g) moved to the World of Solaria Rural Village Legacy Assets folder.
• Redesigned terrain tiles.
• Shadows under trees in Nature Objects are now smaller.
• Some changes to icons to reflect added/removed tiles (anything currently missing will be added in the next update).

Additions:

• New door animations.
• New deep water animations.
• New dock/boardwalk tiles and animations.
• New bridge tiles and animations.
• New carpet tiles.
• New fence types with seasonal versions and ruined versions.
• New waterfall animations.
• New ladders to enter/exit water and animations.
• New terrain types (paving, frozen ground, ice). Almost all terrain types are blob tiles where possible.
• New frozen water terrain types.
• New stair variations for all terrain types with seasonal versions and ruined versions (anything currently missing will be added in the next update).
• New premade houses, each with 3 colour variations, seasonal versions and ruined versions.  

This is a huge update, and although every care has been taken to avoid weird stuff and little mistakes, some may have slipped through. Please let me know if you find anything and I’ll fix it in the next update!

As usual, if you’re not a fan of these changes, you can find the older version of the assets in the Legacy folder.
