World of Solaria Sprite Pack Update 03

👋Hello!👋

This update fixes some long-standing issues:

  • Added the missing axe spritesheet for Odderf
  • Added missing hands for left-facing Odderf walk spritesheet
  • Fixed lots of random pixels on various tool spritesheets
  • Fixed shifted pixels on hoe spritesheet for Odderf
  • Updates the license information to the most recent version

This update adds tiered tools to match the Crops Tileset:

  • Hoe, shovel and watering cans now have copper, steel, gold, purple and turquoise tiers.

This update also changes the names of files and folders to make them easier to keep track of:

  • For the new style sprites, spritesheets feature the name of the character, rather than being identical across al characters
  • Blacksmith has been renamed to Charlie.

The next update will update another character to the new animations!

*EDIT* as referenced in replies, you don't have to re-buy the updates. Itch's UI is just weird and shows the buy button regardless of if you bought it already or not. *END EDIT*

Is there some way I can get these updates if I've already purchased this pack? Buying each new update separately is a little odd. I'll gladly pay extra for the privilege. Otherwise you're kind of incentivising people not to buy the first release of each pack (e.g. your new crops pack) if the later improvements are going to cost the same anyway. The other commenter was a jerk, but I also genuinely didn't think "in-development" meant later updates would need to be bought separately.

You don't have to buy updates. If you click "Download" at the top of the asset page, you'll get the latest version of the files I've uploaded to the page.

Alternatively you can access all of your purchases from your library and click the download button there.

It's more of a problem with itch that they still give people the option to pay again for things already purchased.

Ah that makes much more sense. Sorry itch kinda screwed you on that with their UI

It's cool. I'll make sure to add a note to future devlogs!

This is an asset pack, all graphics, no code. As such, it doesn't have bugs, there were some minor art issues. Also this asset has always been paid, and always been marked as in development. There is more than enough information on the product page for people to make an informed purchase.

Edit: After seeing another comment, I realise you may be confused by itch.io's UI, and the fact it lets people purchase things they already own, and that's not my fault.
